The forthcoming Geneva Motor Show will be stuffed with the innovations. With the new Alfa Romeo Giulietta will especially salient, but also the MiTo gets a scoop on. The MiTo will first be presented with DDCT, or Dual Dry Clutch Transmission. A DSG-bak so, but according to Alfa Romeo.
The benefits of the transmission with double clutch (a clutch for the even and odd one for the opposition) are well known. Faster, more flexible switching movements, less friction and therefore a lower consumption also lower CO2 emissions. Expectations for Alfa's latest are high, especially as the Giulietta - nota bene by Alfa Romeo itself - the most dynamic in the felbevochten C-segment will be.
