Aston Martin released the special edition sports car back in 2007 to the success of its Vantage N24 racer celebrate at the Nurburgring. It tweaks packed 400 PS, a series of suspension and some special cosmetic touches. Unfortunately, Aston produced only 240 examples of the 'N', all of which sold out long ago. But now it's back. With a vengeance.
The former updates the N400 stock 380 hp to 400, the new N420 - results based on the current, post-updated 2008 Vantage - the stock 420-horse mill. Suspension upgrades come courtesy of the otherwise optional sports pack as standard equipment here, along with a special exhaust system unique to the N420. A new front splitter, side skirts and diffuser are made of carbon fiber, are unique wheels with black grille inserts, equipped and 27 kilograms (60 pounds) were trimmed from the curb weight. Upgrades have been undertaken to place the interior and buyers can choose from a series of "race collection" color schemes.
Like its predecessor, the new Aston Martin V8 Vantage N420 Roadster and coupe will be sold in format and with optional six-speed manual or Sport Shift semi-automatic gearbox. Deliveries begin next month in Britain, the £ 96,995 price tag (this is more than $ $ 147,000, but includes aven the UK's hearty Value Added Tax) is a £ 13,804 ($ 21k) surcharge on the base model that sells in the United Kingdom for £ 83,191 (equivalent to $ 126k at today exchange rates) and in the U.S. for $ 119,500. via
