The German press has new details about the forthcoming premiere of the SUV Porsche Cajun, which is expected to be the younger brother of the cult Cayenne. It was learned that the new car will be a two-door off-road coupe and will compete with recently introduced Land Rover Evoque.
Cajun production will begin in 2013, which will provide Evoque two-year term for conquering the hearts of motorists. Originally planned as a Cajun four-door model, but now the company has decided to opt for a two-door configuration. All elements of the exterior of the car will be developed in the unit Porsche Design.
In accordance with the plans of Porsche, the new model will be offered with four engine choices that will work in tandem with a manual or seven-speed automatic with double clutch. In the range of engines will include 2.0 TFSI with 240 hp and 350 Nm, 3.0 TFSI with 292 hp and 400 Nm, 2.0 TDI with 190 hp 350 Nm and the 3.0 TDI with 265 hp and 500 Nm.
