In Japan it is sold at a starting price of 1.59 million yen (about $ 19 775 USD), which makes the hybrid Honda's most affordable in this country. However, for now at least, Honda does not think the Fit hybrid market here or in other markets.
The subcompact gets its power from a motor i-VTEC 1.3-liter associated with the system IMA (Integrated Motor Assist) compact. The installation of the IPU in the cargo area at the back allowed the vehicle to maintain its interior comfort and flexible seating configurations, which are unique features of the Fit.
Moreover, the car is equipped with the support eco-driving (Eco Assist) designed to help drivers maximize fuel efficiency.
