LMP2 Bailey, the first prototype developed in South Africa

Here are pictures of the LMP2 Bailey, the first prototype developed in South Africa, which could participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

For several months now we follow this project. The last time we had, earlier this year, news via the excellent website of our colleagues Endurance-Info.

While the site of Bailey Edwards Cars is operational again, the manufacturer announced that LMP2 is available for sale to customers wishing to align in races governed by the Rules of the COA.

But these images, not the slightest trace of shark fin now mandatory in the LMP2 class. With less than a performance / reliability-unbeatable price, the Bailey may therefore be difficult to penetrate the market. Its design dates back to 2009 already.
