The range has been substantially redesigned Mustang mechanical level for the year 2011 with one exception: the GT500 who merely add 10 horsepower 5.4-liter V8 with its compressed. Who does not progress and the threat recedes from the 2012 Chevrolet ZL1 which will offer an equivalent power real early in the year 2012. Ford does not happily sit idly by and propose for the vintage 2013 version boosted to over 600 hp, probably 620 horsepower. For this, the M112 Eaton supercharger will be replaced by another from the same brand and the V8 engine from 5.4 liters to 5.8 liters. If the 0-60 mph is expected to change little (4.1 seconds for the 2011 model), the quarter mile should fall from 12.4 seconds to 12 seconds while the maximum speed will increase from 155 mph to 190 mph (respectively 249 km / h and 306 km / h). The price should rebound to $ 10 K $ 60,000.
