The Mexican branch of Volkswagen recently showed reporters the prototype of a new compact model, which does not yet have a name.
Small 2.48-meter three-door hatchback, which is based on concept, VW Up!, Differs with its original appearance, wide side doors, a gas-discharge light engineering and very short overhangs.
The car is equipped with a hybrid drive system, consisting of 1-liter turbo diesel engine, 14-strong electric motor and lithium-ion batteries.
It is reported that in the mass production of a new compact car will go next year.
